Mad shopper on treatment

It was random. About a month ago my friend and I decided to travel to Bandung for a girls-only shopping trip! We've got so much bundle-of-joys aka money that are not meant for saving, countless annual leaves for rainy days (in this case, stress relieved shopping trip) and bf/husband that are fully occupied with their own activities. So a girl needs to do what is best for them and best for the world (economy)... Shop till you drop!

We took the first flight out and arrived at Bandung, Indonesia (or also known as shopping paradise) around 7am local time. Most shops open at 11 am so we had 4 hours to kill before we are at war.

The first mall we headed to was Paris van java. It was HUGE. You can find some good quality, local branded dress and blouse at reasonable price! Next stop was the popular Rumah Mode factory outlet. This is personally my favorite. You can get original branded stuffs for as low as USD 8. But u need to be careful as not all items are original. Only true shopaholic has the eyes to tell them apart ;) besides rumah mode, there are about 5-6 others factory outlet along the same street which offer variety kind of clothing at a super-low price. Trust me, Bandung gives a whole new definition to 'shopping'.

Day 2: we were told by the locals to check out Jalan Riau and Jalan Dago for more FOS. And oh-my-god we spent 6 hours in Riau alone and 2 hours in dago without stop for lunch! The shops were amazing with a mix of modern and traditional touch which simply creates a relaxing shopping ambiance for the crazy shoppers like our kinds.. Thus explain why we buy more than we need!! After all that heavy lifting shopping, we decided(very much needed at this point of time) to rejuvenate our body and soul in full body massage at zen spa. The facilities were high class but the charges were eye opening! USD 9 for an hour full body massage! Say what??

Day 3: since our flight home was scheduled at 8 pm, we decided to do light-and-easy shopping instead, before we go off. But little that we knew, our next destination will cost us additional 15kg of check in luggage! 'Pasar baru' is the place to go in Bandung! It consists of 7 levels with thousands of little shops that invites you to bargain until you surrender and buy! We spent over 6 hours in this mall before called it quit and We even got lost a few times in this mall despite our excellent degree in shopping. So lesson learnt for future bandung shoppers, if you like it, then buy it because it would be almost impossible to find the shop again...

We had so much fun during our 3-day trip in Bandung and each one of us spent about USD 500 (which equivalent to 2 and a half mega sized check-in luggage!) and at the end of the trip I felt pain as if something stretch my uterus..
